Who it's for

A repair station that, once this ships, would move its Repair Station and Quality Manual sections through a tracked approval workflow instead of emailing revisions around with no trail.

What it replaces

RSQM revisions emailed around with no signed approval trail — replaced once this is in production.

What rsqm document control gives you

  • In development for Q1 2027 — built and in testing
  • RSQM sections: DRAFT → PROPOSED → APPROVED → SUPERSEDED
  • A revision trail per section

RSQM sections through DRAFT → PROPOSED → APPROVED → SUPERSEDED — in development

This capability is in development, targeted for Q1 2027 and built and in testing — not yet enabled in production. Once it ships, Repair Station and Quality Manual sections would move through DRAFT → PROPOSED → APPROVED → SUPERSEDED, so a manual change has a defined state rather than being emailed around with no trail. Until it's in production, RSQM revisions happen outside the platform.

A revision trail per section is the intent

As planned, a revision trail would record each section's history, so a manual change carries a signed approval history rather than living in an email thread. This is part of the in-development certificate layer, not the maintenance core that ships today — the RSQM content would be the station's own kept record, and AviationAlley does not generate or file the manual on the station's behalf.

How an operator uses this

This capability is in development, targeted for Q1 2027 and built and in testing — not yet enabled in production. Once it ships, Repair Station and Quality Manual sections will move through DRAFT → PROPOSED → APPROVED → SUPERSEDED with a revision trail per section, so a manual change carries a signed approval history instead of being emailed around with no trail. It's part of the in-development certificate layer, not the maintenance core that ships today; until it's in production, RSQM revisions happen outside the platform.

  4. Planned for Q1 2027 — built and in testing, not yet enabled in production.

Questions

Not yet. RSQM sections moving DRAFT → PROPOSED → APPROVED → SUPERSEDED with a revision trail are part of the in-development certificate layer, targeted for Q1 2027 — built and in testing, not yet enabled in production.

Will RSQM revisions keep an approval history?

That's the intent — a revision trail per section is planned, so a manual change carries a signed approval history. RSQM document control is in development, targeted for Q1 2027.

Every Part 145 workspace also includes the platform-wide backbone — logbook, credentials, compliance, reporting, and audit trail.
