Part 141 · Stage checks & endorsements
Endorsement library
Every endorsement is a row per trainee carrying its expiry, the issuing CFI, and the stored signed document; a renewal creates a new row so the full history is preserved. You can see at a glance whose endorsements are lapsing. It replaces the endorsements scattered across paper logbooks and text threads.
Launching the first quarter of 2027.

Who it's for
The chief instructor who needs to see whose endorsements are lapsing before the next lesson, with the issuing CFI and the signed document on every row.
What it replaces
The endorsements scattered across paper logbooks and text threads.
What endorsement library gives you
- Per-trainee endorsement rows with expiry and issuing CFI
- Stored signed document on each row
- Renewals preserved as new rows; lapsing endorsements visible
A row per endorsement, document and all
Every endorsement a school issues is a row on the student carrying its expiry, the issuing CFI, and the stored signed document — so the record stops being scattered across paper logbooks and text threads. You issue an endorsement on the student and attach the signed document, which is stored right on the row.

- Stored signed document on each row
Renewals preserved, lapses surfaced
A renewal creates a new row rather than editing the old one, so the full endorsement history is preserved for the file. The chief instructor sees at a glance whose endorsements are lapsing, on the same Due-Soon timeline as everything else, instead of finding out at the next lesson.

How it works
Endorsement library, step by step
Issue an endorsement on the student; it becomes a row with its expiry and the issuing CFI.
Attach the signed document — it's stored on the row.
Renew when due; the renewal creates a new row so the history is preserved.
Scan the library to see whose endorsements are lapsing before the next lesson.
Questions
Endorsement library — frequently asked
How do endorsements work in a Part 141 program?
Each endorsement is a row per trainee with its expiry, the issuing CFI, and a stored signed document. Renewals create new rows so the full history is preserved, and lapsing endorsements surface on the same Due-Soon timeline as everything else.
Are old endorsements kept when one is renewed?
Yes. A renewal creates a new row rather than editing the old one, so the full endorsement history stays intact for the file.
