🇬🇧UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA)

AviationAlley for United Kingdom.

Post-Brexit the UK CAA runs its own show — Part-FCL for licensing, ORO for ops, M for maintenance. AviationAlley speaks all three and ships with audit-grade controls that align with the CAA's risk-based oversight model.

London (Heathrow)EGLL

London (Gatwick)EGKK

easyJet UK HQ + multiple ATO operations

ManchesterEGCC

Major Northern UK operations base + corporate fleets

EdinburghEGPH

Loganair + Scottish operations + helicopter training cluster

FAR ↔ UK mapping

Same operation, different label. AviationAlley's module-gating system maps cleanly onto United Kingdom's regulatory structure.

Compliance + audit posture in United Kingdom

UK Part-FCL (flight crew licensing), UK ORO (organisation requirements), UK Part-M (continuing airworthiness). Equivalent in shape to EASA — diverged on details post-Brexit. The audit log is filterable for CAA Inspection visits the same way we filter FAA evaluators.

Audit-grade trail
Every change carries actor + role + timestamp.
Filter by authority
Audit log filters cleanly for regulator inspections.
Inspection mode
One-click read-only navigation for inspectors.

Questions United Kingdom-based buyers ask

Is data hosted in the UK?

Default deployment is US-region (Vercel). UK-region hosting is available for enterprise customers — we can deploy to AWS London or Vercel's EU region with a customer-paid migration.

Does it support EASA cross-recognition?

Yes — pilot credentials can record both UK CAA and EASA licenses on the same row. The credentialKind enum is intentionally permissive so multi-jurisdiction crew records work cleanly.

What about UK GDPR?

Same compliance posture as EU GDPR for UK operations. The /privacy page documents data-processor terms; DPAs are available for enterprise contracts.
